To extend a monitor on Windows, when the hub is connected to the laptop and a display via HDMI, you can use the Win+P shortcut to select expansion or mirroring modes. In Windows Display Settings, you can configure the secondary screen's order, resolution, and refresh rate.

On Mac, when the hub is connected to the laptop and a display via HDMI, you can adjust the secondary screen's resolution, refresh rate, mirroring, and extension mode in System Preferences. Mac OS only supports single-stream transport, not multi-stream.

The USB-C hub offers 4 Windows display modes: ABB (1080P@60Hz HDMI + 1080P@60Hz VGA), ABBB (1080P@60Hz HDMI 1 + 1080P@60Hz HDMI 2 + 1080P@60Hz VGA), ABC (1080P@60Hz HDMI 1 + 1080P@60Hz HDMI 2), and ABBC (1080P@60Hz VGA + 1080P@60Hz HDMI 1 + 1080P@60Hz HDMI 2).
